ThreatFire Protection

Enabling this feature ensures that ThreatFire can actively monitor your system for signs of suspicious behavior and potential attacks, providing you with its best protection against new and unknown threats. Turning it off may potentially expose your system to threats in the form of viruses, worms, spyware and other malicious programs.

Protection Level

Adjust the slider to your preferred level of protection.

1. Alerts only when a known threat is detected. This level will display the fewest alerts.
2. Alerts when a known threat is detected and for most unknown threats.
3. Recommended level. Alerts for known threats, known PUAs and for any unknown threats.
4. Alerts on most suspicious actions, for all but the most trusted processes.
5. Alerts on any suspicious action. This level will display the most alerts.

Check for Updates

With this option enabled, ThreatFire will automatically check for software updates available for download on the ThreatFire servers.
